They wish to appoint a Tunnelling Engineer or Mining Engineer to be responsible for business development in tunnelling, mining and underground applications.

This is an excellent career opportunity for an engineer who has a minimum of 10 years experience in tunnelling, mining or underground construction and a sound knowledge of relevant methodologies, products and technologies.

The successful applicant will be responsible for building up and leading a team of tunnelling experts in the Asia - Pacific region (Thailand or Malaysia or Singapore), assist Group and Regional Research and Development centres to adapt and develop new products and technologies, support local projects in the region and mentor and train personnel.

He, or she, will also be responsible for the commercial success and development of the Tunnelling Unit in conjunction with the general manager of each respective country and will also represent Sika in global and regional expert groups and industry associations.
