Our client is a dynamic consulting engineering group with offices throughout South Africa and an impressive history in the provision of engineering services in the roads sector.

They wish to appoint an experienced engineer to head their regional roads division and to manage and direct the development of this division.

This opportunity will be of interest to a civil engineer who has at least 15 years post graduate experience with extensive exposure in major roads projects and solid experience in contract administration of major roads or road rehabilitation/upgrading projects.

Key performance areas:

• Contract administration of roads projects as the Engineer
• Manage designs of regional roads projects
• Participate as part of national design teams on major engineering projects
• Manage regional roads divisional staff and site monitoring teams
• Business development and client liaison with national, provincial, and urban roads authorities
